As always these are sales for the Northern Colorado area.  Lots of stores run national sales though, so except for meat and milk everything else usually sticks.  If you’re curious about your store simply click below on the store name and enter your zip code for your own circular.

  • Spend $75 and get $10 for your next trip
  • Heinz Ketchup – $1.99
  • Oroweat breads – BOGO
  • 1 Gallon milk – $1.97
  • Strawberries – $1.99/16 oz. package
  • Sweet Ray’s BBQ sauce – BOGO

Sunflower:

  • Jumbo raw shrimp – $6.99/lb

Sprouts:

  • Yellow peaches and nectarines – $.49/lb
  • Asparagus – $1.99/lb (only price I’ll buy it at)
  • Pluots/Plums/White Peaches/Nectarines – $.88/lb
  • Cantaloupe – $.88/lb
  • Chicken tenders – $1.99/lb
  • Jumbo raw shrimp – $6.99/lb

My Meal Plan:

  1.  Shrimp, Dill and Orzo Pasta Salad – after so many requests for this at a baby shower I helped host last week I’ll do this one again.  It’s a simple side dish without the shrimp, but a gorgeous main with.  I like to make it and leave it for the boyfriend for the week.
  2. Chicken Tenders – crusted in crushed saltines instead of flour, these chicken fingers are to die for.  Moist on the inside and crunchy on the outside!
  3. Sausage, bell pepper, broccoli and white wine penne – another terrific America’s Test Kitchen recipe.  It’s a one skillet, toast the pasta in the pan then cook it affair.  The browned sausage and white wine make this beautiful rich but light sauce.  It’s a miracle.
