As always these are sales for the Northern Colorado area.  Lots of stores run national sales though, so except for meat and milk everything else usually sticks.  If you’re curious about your store simply click below on the store name and enter your zip code for your own circular.

Safeway:

  • Doritos – Buy 2 Get 2
  • Nabisco Snack Crackers – BOGO (good deal)
  • Milk – $1.97/gallon
  • Sweet Corn – 5/$1
  • Near East Rice – $2.29 (check regular, this might be a great deal)
  • Pepsi – Buy 2 Get 2

King Soopers:

  • 93% lean ground beef – $2.99/lb (best deal all year)
  • Sweet Corn – 5/$1
  • Boneless Pork Loin – $2.99/lb (in the bag, HUGE)
  • SO many things on their buy 10 save $5 list

Sunflower:

  • Seedless grapes (all colors) – $.88/lb
  • Red and Green bell peppers – 3/$1
  • Green Beans and Squash $.99/lb
  • Berries – 2/$4
  • Northwest Cherries – $1.99/lb
  • London Broil – $2.99/lb (best price all year)

Sprouts:

  • Seedless grapes (all colors) – $.88/lb
  • Red and Green bell peppers – 3/$1
  • Green Beans and Squash $.99/lb
  • Berries – 2/$4
  • Northwest Cherries – $1.99/lb
  • London Broil – $2.99/lb (best price all year)
  • Boneless/Skinless Chicken Breasts – $1.77/lb (lowest ever)

My Meal Plan:

  1.  London Broil – I might as well do this again with how good of a deal it is.  Last week’s were almost freezer prices (I bought one extra) — this is the lowest I see this guy go.
  2. Burgers – ground beef is on sale so I’ll do something with this.  Maybe all american with melty cheese, raw onion, tomato and lettuce.  Sounds sinful.  But I’ll grab some yams and grill up some yam fries at the same time so the meal isn’t so awful for you.
  3. Rosemary Orange Pork Loin – I’ll try to do this as a blog post.  This is one of those “it looks and tastes super impressive but it was SO easy and SO cheap” meals.  I use frozen orange juice to make this sweet yet savory sauce.  (Note: pork “loin” is not the same as pork “tenderloin.”  I’ll do a meat post at some point but I like to consider the loin white meat and the tenderloin dark meat.  It’s not, but it’s a bit juicier, a bit more tender and in general is darker in color before it’s cooked).

Love these posts, Lauren! My circulars just go straight to the recycle bin now as I just reference your blog for all the good sales! I also love that you say when it’s a great deal or when to stock up, etc. I always struggled with knowing if it’s *really* that great of a deal. Thanks for posting these!
