Sprouts:

  • Cherries – $1.47/lb
  • Red bell peppers/cucumbers – $.50
  • Pork or Chicken sausage – $2.99

My Meal Plan:

  1. Grilled London Broil sliced thinly with grill corn
  2. Leftover London Broil sliced and tossed over a large salad
  3. Red Beans and Rice (because peppers and sausage were on sale)
  4. Pan seared chicken sausages, brussel sprouts and…rice?
  5. Grilled bratwursts, grill corn and beer (duh).
  6. Grilled chicken salad.

I’ll have to pull some grilled chicken out of the freezer and dig into my rice but it leaves some nice leftovers, quick prep times and lots of outdoor cooking (read: it’s hot).
